There are many reasons to change jobs: looking for a better opportunity, increase in pay or responsibility, layoffs, etc. No matter what the reason, it’s quite common. According to the U.S. Department of Labor Statistics, younger baby boomers (those born between 1957 and 1964) had almost 12 jobs from ages 18 – 50. Not surprisingly, almost half of those jobs were held from ages 18 – 24. Another interesting statistic is that jobs started by 35 – 44 year olds lasted less than one year (36% of the time) and 75% ended in less than 5 years.

What about changing jobs after you are 50? You’ll want to take stock of your transferrable skills and review the job outlook for positions that are a good fit. Job market considerations aside, you will probably be competing for any job with applicants that are younger than you. It might be a good time to update your résumé, your wardrobe, and your smile. Yes, your smile.

Custom Tray Bleaching

If you are looking to drastically whiten your teeth, our custom tray bleaching is a good fit. This service takes place over two appointments: at the first appointment, we will take impressions of your teeth, and at the second appointment we will fit the trays.

The bleaching is done in the convenience of your home. You may use the bleaching solution 1-2 times per day for up to half an hour, as prescribed by your dentist. All directions will be explained thoroughly during your appointment. Trays are custom-fitted for you, and are reusable.

Porcelain Veneers

Veneers help to perfect your smile by masking discolored or slight mis-alignments in your teeth. Thin porcelain coverings are custom-made and bonded securely onto the front of your tooth for a beautiful and natural result.

Invisalign® Braces

Invisalign braces are a series of custom-made aligner trays that gradually shift your teeth into place. The clear plastic trays snap into place, but are removable, so you can eat, brush and floss, as usual. It is important to keep your mouth healthy throughout the straightening process. Minidental Implants

Mini dental implants are small-diameter implants that can be used to replace a single tooth, stabilize existing dentures, or hold other appliances like removable partial dentures in place. The implants are inserted into your jaw bone and are so small they typically do not require an incision in the gums. For many applications there is no down time – they can be used immediately. They can cost significantly less than full-size implants (up to 80% less), and can often be placed with a 2 hour appointment.
